The short version

This site is a collection of calculators that run entirely in your browser. We do not require accounts and we do not ask for personal data. The values you type into any tool are never transmitted to us or to anyone else; calculations happen on your device. We measure aggregate site usage with a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool that we host ourselves, described below.

What is processed, and by whom

Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. As with any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and request headers to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse (rate limiting, DDoS mitigation). This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Web fonts (Google Fonts). Pages load fonts from Google's servers, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when fetching them. See Google's privacy policy. We plan to self-host fonts to remove this transfer.

Analytics (Umami, self-hosted). We use Umami, an open source analytics tool, running on our own server. It records aggregate usage data: pages visited, referrer, browser and device type, and country. It sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, does not follow you across other websites, and the data never leaves infrastructure we control. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you block the script with an ad blocker, every tool keeps working normally.

Tool inputs. Numbers and addresses you enter into calculators are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to our servers. "Share link" buttons encode your inputs into a URL on your clipboard; sharing that URL is your choice.

Advertising

The site may display advertising in the future. Before any advertising cookies or identifiers are used, visitors in regions where consent is required will be asked for it through a consent banner, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data concerning you, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). Since we do not maintain databases of visitor data, most requests will concern our processors listed above; we will assist where we can via the contact address.
